Location, location, location. This was a perfect spot for us to stay and explore the Gem Lakes, which are a quick 13 minute drive away. But add to that the view, being right on the shore of Piprell Lake, boat access, fishing, a small shop for essentials etc, it was super.

We had an amazing stay at Rainbow Lodge in Narrow Hills! The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating, making sure everything was just right for our group. The space itself is beautiful—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for both large groups and families with kids. The lake access is a huge bonus, and we really enjoyed being able to rent a boat for the day—it made the experience extra special. The whole area is so peaceful and relaxing, a great escape from the city. Would definitely recommend Rainbow Lodge to anyone looking for a comfortable and scenic getaway!

Stayed here a few times and it's always been a good experience. The rooms at the lodge are perfect for trips - all the comforts of home that you need plus fairly reasonable rates. You just need to pack your food and bedding linen, plus a few other items, and you're good to go! The lake offers pretty great fishing, although sometimes the fish can be jerks and don't bite. The views can be quite stunning from the lodge as well, plus there are plenty of firepits around to have a nice fire at the end of the day. Also, both Narrow Hills and Clarence Steepbank provincial parks are right there, if you decide you want to do a little extra adventuring. Definitely recommend you book a stay and experience it.

This was the perfect location for a place to stay and hike the gem lakes. The lakefront, townhouse style cabin was larger than expected with a full bathroom, three bedrooms, and pull out couch in the living room, complete with a TV and satellite. It was recommended to bring our own bedding, towels, dishtowels, cloths, etc. The kitchen had a full size fridge, microwave and kitchenette for cooking, including basic cutlery and dishes. There were BBQs for each unit on the deck out front as well as lakefront fire pits with firewood available. Shelley and her husband were very accommodating and great to deal with. Please do not feed the foxes.

Had a great time at Rainbow Lodge. Went fishing, made a fire and at the end of the day slept in a warm cabin. The cabins had plenty of room and the staff are very welcoming.

Amazing staff, beautiful lake, very nice and affordable cabins and good fishing. I got lazy and decided to drive my truck on the ice with tire chains on; got halfway down the lake and got hopelessly stuck in a drift and chewed an awful trench with my tire chains. The staff at the lodge rallied together some locals with sleds and helped get me out of my trench. Can't say enough good things about this place and the people running it.
